From Burnout to Purpose: My Journey & A Gift for You

What Makes Your Heart Sing?

I’m writing from a café in Da Nang, Vietnam—Roots Café—as I try a new, healthier alternative to coffee: Reishi latte with oat milk.

This feels like a good choice since I need more Yin energy for balance. Yin represents stability, rest, rejuvenation, and the feminine. And right now, I’m embracing a slower pace—no longer rushing things.

The Search for My Career Path

For many years I have been asking myself; "what do I want?", "what makes my heart sing?".

Studying Chinese Medicine from 2018-2020 was definitely part of it, as it felt totally right from the beginning to the end. But I also knew that just because it felt right to study it then, didn't necessarily mean that it was my new career path.

I have always had a strong longing for freedom.

About two years ago, I joined X with one intention: to find out what I truly want to do for a living—online. Location freedom has always been important to me. And of course, I also aim for time freedom and financial freedom.

It started with an explosion of ideas… Marketing, Copywriting, E-commerce, Coaching, YouTube, a Newsletter… And then, there’s my love for writing rap lyrics and making music.

But soon, I felt overwhelmed. The pressure to stay relevant, to grow an audience, to engage daily—it drained me.

The Gift of Burnout

Back in 2020, I was already burned out. I quit my job, left Stockholm and moved to my father’s little house in the Swedish countryside. I needed that space—to rest, to do nothing for a while.

Then, in early 2021, I took a leap and moved to Brazil, ready to become a resident.

Since August 2020, I’ve only worked full-time for about 2.5 months—doing gardening in 2022. The burnout forced me to listen to myself. It was the best thing that ever happened to me, in terms of finding what I truly want to do.

I could no longer do things that went against my truth.

Overwhelmed by Ideas & Distractions

But even after slowing down, I found myself in another struggle: too many creative ideas, too many directions. My creative mind was bursting with possibilities, but I didn’t really manage to stay focused.

And on top of that, I was still spending too much energy on distractions—Instagram, YouTube…

YouTube inspired me, helped me… or did it? Yes and no.

I did, however, come across people who had a big impact on me: Dan Koe, Bob Proctor, Neville Goddard, Brenda Turner, and many more.

They helped me go deeper and see the real issue—how my subconscious mind had been running the show.

A Battle Between Lack & Abundance

It’s been a journey of undoing old beliefs—beliefs of being small, lacking, not being enough. But also seeing how rich my life already is. And to see how much transformation have already happened.

And as I started connecting with new friends online, receiving so much love and appreciation, and recognition. My confidence grew in that: I do have something valuable to offer.

After 16 years of meditation, devoted to follow my intuition, and attending 44+ meditation retreats with an enlightened master, I’ve gained deep insights—not just through meditation, but through challenging myself in all areas of life.

And not only that. I’ve spent years learning healing arts, like massage, reiki, chinese medicine, healing powers of foods and herbs, the power of the subconscious mind, and so on... My heart is overflowing with knowledge and insights that I want to share.

And that’s exactly what I’m here to do.

What Makes My Heart Sing?

This is it. This is what I was searching for.

At the core of it all, it’s simple: To share love. To share what I love - what is alive in me.

Whether it’s through music, lyrics, video, calls, newsletters—it doesn’t matter how. As long as it’s expressed.

Buddha said in the Dhammapada:

"First, establish yourself in the way—then teach. And so defeat sorrow."

I feel great excitement—and fear. Perfect signs that this is my path.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been afraid to take space, to be seen. But I’ve realized that what we fear the most is often where our deeper longing lies.

Dear friend, “If you don’t remember the source, you stumble in confusion and sorrow. But when you realize where you come from, you naturally become tolerant, disinterested, amused, kind-hearted as a grandmother, dignified as a king. Immersed in the wonder of the Tao, you can deal with whatever life brings you. And even when death comes, you are at ease.” — Lao Tzu There’s a deep intelligence inside each of us — a presence that is clear, kind, and effortlessly creative. But in the speed and...

Hi Reader, This is a letter about love and meditation — and how a small shift can create a big difference. I’ll share a personal story, a reflection, and a simple practice you can try. I’m confident we all long for connection — for love. It’s easy to think that we connect more by going out, by trying to reach others. When, in fact, to have deeper connection with others, we need a deeper connection with ourselves. Everything starts with you. Many have said: “Change starts from within.” And...

Freedom is yours to claim No one else can do it for you. Freedom comes with Awareness. If there is no awareness, there is no choice. And no response-ability. "Forgive them father, for they don't know what they are doing" - Yeshua/Jesus Unconsciously you just react to life - you're a product of society. Conditioned and crippled by fear. With consciousness, you have the ability and freedom to respond. You have access to your higher intelligence. Consciousness itself cannot do anything that is...
